Debs Brookes, co-founder of Root Connections Networking, discovered her passion for spirituality early on, inspired by her lineage of spiritual healers—her mother and great-grandmother. Her journey into holistic practices began in her mid-30s, catalyzed by life's trials, with a firm resolve to fulfil a significant purpose by the time she turned 50.

 

Alongside her spiritual pursuits, Debs is a trained holistic therapist specialising in reflexology and Reiki, having studied Holistic Health at Kendal College. Her professional background also encompasses marketing, market research, and advertising, honed over several years in the industry.

 

Upon reaching the milestone of 50, Debs birthed Roots of Life Holistic Health and Wellbeing Events, fostering connections among like-minded individuals across Cumbria and North Lancashire—a venture she continues to manage and find joy in.

 

Guided by intuition and a heart-led approach, she co-founded Root Connections Holistic, Networking in 2022 with Jackie recognising a need for a supportive space for health and wellbeing providers after feeling disconnected at conventional business networking events.

 

Together with Jackie, they had hubs in Chorley and Kendal, and are now  expanding this empowering network to other businesses across the UK.

 

Driven by her passion for holistic health, Debs remains committed to spreading this important message in today's world.
